How can different perspectives improve collective judgement? That question links several appearances and invitations in Émile Servan-Schreiber’s archive between 2019 and 2025. The settings ranged from cybersecurity and business education to foresight meetings and professional forums. The notices describe an expanding public conversation, with a clear distinction between announced sessions, retrospective accounts and research that actually evaluates group performance.
25 January 2019: Cybersecurity conference registration opens
Mélanie Bénard-Crozat announced registration for Les voix(es) de la Cyber 2019, planned for 14 March in Paris and co-organised by S&D Magazine and Sébastien Garnault. Servan-Schreiber was among the named participants. The invitation foregrounded women’s contributions to cybersecurity; it was programme evidence, rather than proof of a delivered keynote.
19 February 2019: Diversity and anticipation on the cyber agenda
A speaker announcement placed his collective-intelligence contribution at the Hôtel national des Invalides. It connected Supercollectif with diversity and combining judgements to anticipate the future. Servan-Schreiber added encouragement recalling women’s pioneering role in programming. Those are the organisers’ intended theme and his framing, with no cybersecurity probability or result supplied.
4 March 2019: A scheduled afternoon keynote
The published schedule placed his collective-intelligence keynote at 16:30 on 14 March. It also listed contributions by Paula Forteza, Isabelle Tisserand, Luigi Rebuffi and Guy-Philippe Goldstein. This third notice completes the announcement sequence, but adds no transcript or post-event assessment of Servan-Schreiber’s contribution.
15 September 2020: An economic debate at Cercle du Lac
Cercle du Lac advertised an October 1 panel asking whether collective intelligence could represent a new form of capitalism. It named Servan-Schreiber, Jacques Crahay, Thomas Lederer and Philippe Chevalier, with François Mathieu of La Libre moderating. Servan-Schreiber welcomed the question and said he needed to prepare. Neither comment establishes the panel’s conclusions.
6 March 2021: Africa Business School’s Diversity Week
Africa Business School announced Diversity Week for 8–11 March, including Servan-Schreiber’s 9 March webinar at 14:00 on how diversity makes groups smarter. Other sessions addressed gender equality, education and feminist perspectives. He shared the invitation. The programme supplies the intended discussion, while delivery, attendance and learning outcomes remain unconfirmed.
1 June 2023: Crowd forecasting in Rabat
Servan-Schreiber shared his fifteen-minute case for crowd forecasting at the State of Foresight Studies in the World symposium. The Policy Center for the New South’s programme dates the event to 26–27 May 2023 at UM6P in Rabat, co-organised with ICESCO and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University. It places him in a think-tanks and strategic-diplomacy panel. No particular probability can be recovered from his short share.
1 December 2023: An RTBF diversity discussion announced
A December invitation advertised a Brussels Midi de la diversité at RTBF for 15 December, centred on Supercollectif. It connected diversity, women’s participation and emotional intelligence with group performance. Its broad claims about groups outperforming experts are promotional framing: the notice supplies no named comparison, study result or record of the delivered session.
27 June 2024: The Matins de l’ARE recap
An ARE recap reported welcoming Servan-Schreiber that morning for its quarterly meeting with members of ARE and AJR, the young restructuring professionals’ association. It described an interactive presentation about collective intelligence and diversity. The organiser’s positive response documents reception, while the exercises, forecasts and any restructuring results remain unspecified.
15 April 2025: A Royan conference on deciding together
TILT Events Charente-Maritime’s recap described a collective-intelligence conference held the previous evening, 14 April, at Le Palais Royan Événements. It framed the talk around deciding, collaborating and innovating together, and thanked its business partners. The retrospective establishes the reported evening; it supplies no attendance count, forecasting example or measured improvement in decisions.
12 June 2025: Parity in the events industry
Frédéric Pitrou’s invitation to Femmes des événements said Servan-Schreiber would discuss parity and company performance. Pitrou argued that more equal representation throughout the hierarchy improves performance, and Servan-Schreiber expressed enthusiasm. The claim remains Pitrou’s: no effect size, study, exact gathering date or confirmation of the talk’s delivery appears in the source.
Primary research offers a more bounded comparison than those promotional claims. Woolley and colleagues’ 2010 study associated group performance with social sensitivity, more equal conversational turn-taking and the proportion of women. It did not evaluate these events or establish company returns. The journal’s expertise-and-diversity discussion develops the practical question of how to organise contributions.
